Getting Cre8ive with Colour
Following Pantone’s announcement that its Colour of the Year 2020 would be ‘Classic Blue’, we thought we’d celebrate by sharing some of our favourite projects which incorporate this contemporary colour scheme.
Described as being calming, restful and reflective as well as ‘elegant in its simplicity’, it’s easy to see why designers love the deep blue hue of ‘Classic Blue’.
This recently completed co-working office space features individual phone booths which combine oak veneered timber worktops with fabric-covered acoustic wall panels in a deep shade of blue – creating the perfect backdrop for these quiet individual working areas.
For another recent London office fit-out project, we created bespoke printer stations with FENIX laminate cupboards in a contemporary navy colour to match the company’s branding and complement the vibrant green of the living planters within the design.
On the same project, we also manufactured and installed booth seating in the staff break areas including a mix of stylish Kvadrat and Camera fabrics in the same deep navy blue tones.
Colour is a vital part in any interior design scheme and it can be used in different ways to create a bold statement, reflect company branding or even influence the mood of those using the building. We’re lucky to have worked on a huge variety of different projects each with their own unique style and requirements, which allows us to be creative especially when it comes to colour.
