10 Finsbury Square, London
Leading private markets investor, Pantheon Ventures, has more than three decades of experience investing in private equity, infrastructure and real assets and operates from offices in New York, San Francisco, London, Hong Kong, Seoul and Bogotá.
Its London office needed to be exceptional and 10 Finsbury Square, which occupies a vibrant part of London between Shoreditch and the City, was the obvious choice. We were proud to play our part in the fit out for Pantheon within this striking new building.
Designed by Sheppard and Robson, 10 Finsbury Square is an efficient, practical and visually distinctive building with its full height wave effect glazed façade. It provides flexible Grade A office space and has been rated excellent by BREEAM thanks to its innovative ground source heat pump, rainwater harvesting and green roof.
The first point of call for visitors to the Pantheon is its new reception area which was designed create a lasting first impression. The striking marble reception desk which matches the wall linings and floor, was hand finished by our team on site.
The reception area also features bespoke full height wood effect laminate veneer cupboards while our innovative Qubewall® storage system in a white laminate finish sits within the main office area where it provides a neat and compact secure storage solution.
Pantheon was keen to ensure that its new London base was designed with the health and wellbeing of its staff at its heart. With this in mind, one of its stand-out features is the living wall which we installed within the kitchen area – adding to the metropolitan café vibe. The living wall also serves as an antidote to the ultra-modern meeting rooms, creating a clear distinction between different areas of the building and providing staff with a clear place to relax.
We fitted out the sleek new kitchen and eating area with wood veneer cupboards, a breakfast bar, white Corian countertop and bespoke above counter storage boxes and metal racking. We also crafted modern seating units for the kitchen area, each with an integrated table design and manufactured using powder coated metal. Overlooking the historic Honourable Artillery Company grounds directly below as well as the wider city beyond, the seating areas are an ideal spot for colleagues to eat together, have small informal meetings and brainstorming sessions or work individually.
Our team also fitted out the meeting rooms with glass wall linings which include inset wide-screen TV as well as air conditioning, heating and lighting controls all fitted seamlessly within the glass. The glass wall linings were back-painted to a light grey shade to complement the cool tones of the colour scheme of each meeting room.
