Bespoke joinery crafted by our expert team
This year we’ve been celebrating joinery and shining a spotlight on our dedicated joinery team – the people behind some of our most eye-catching projects.
At our heart is our talented and experienced team who are all passionate about creating beautifully bespoke pieces for our clients. A quarter of our factory team have worked with us for 10 years or more and in the industry for longer still, like Dave Helsby, now one of our lead joiners, who has 35 years of industry experience and has worked with us since 2003, as well as Kamil Ozice who has four decades of experience and has worked with us for the last 13 years. The team is honing its craft constantly, resulting in the impressive combined expertise which goes into each one of our projects. And as we’re growing, those skills are being passed on to new members of the team like our youngest recruit, apprentice joiner Joseph Holmes.
Some of our original joiners are now heading up other areas of the business including design and project management. Ian Howell, our current workshop manager, was previously a joiner here and now runs the whole joinery workshop – taking care of the day-to-day running, collating all the cutting lists and ensuring all products are made on time. This understanding underpins the joinery expertise that our clients rely on and ensures we can deliver on time and on budget for every project.
While joinery is central to our offering, we do so much more too. We operate from a state-of-the-art 58,000 sq ft factory comprising several specialist units which each have a specific focus – from panel production and lockers to Corian solid surface fabrication, joinery, metalwork, press and veneer, CNC cutting and even our own spray shop – we’ve got every aspect covered in house. We’re proud of our finishing department which has grown under the guidance of Graham Spurge, who specialises in all finishes and is extremely knowledgeable. He started working with us in 2005 and now heads up the department – ensuring only the highest quality of finish is achieved on each project.
As a company we’re always forward looking and this is true of our joinery team who are always keen to learn new skills or work with new materials, so that we can continue to create projects which are as unique as our clients.
Our factory is conveniently located just 30 minutes from London by train, so why not contact us to arrange a tour of our factory, meet our team and talk through your project requirements with us?
