Laying the foundations for the future
We’re firmly future-focussed which is why we are constantly investing in our people and our manufacturing facilities so that we can continue to deliver exceptional projects for our clients on time and on budget every time. 2022 was one of our biggest and most successful years to date as we completed more large-scale projects than ever before and with a packed pipeline of projects still to come – we’re building on this success into 2023 and beyond across all areas of the business.
Design
In the last 12 months we’ve extended our in-house design services to offer more materials and product samples as well as full size project mock-ups to help clients visualise how their finished project will look on completion. And as sustainability is increasingly a key driver on more and more projects, we’re working with a growing number of sustainable materials manufacturers too and are really proud to have recently been awarded Constructionline Gold status. We work closely with clients and architects to get the very best out of every project, making sure the finished space meets the design brief and fulfils the needs of end users.
Our work in the Ealing Gateway building – a new office in the heart of Ealing – is a good example of this. Together with our partner, Washroom Washroom, who created the bespoke vanity units and lockers in the staff changing areas, we manufactured and installed a reception desk faced with solid surface Corian in ‘Linen’ colour with Forbo insert and bespoke signage.
Manufacture
After extending our factory in 2021, our 58,000 sq ft site now comprises several specialist units which each have a specific focus, from panel production and lockers to Corian solid surface fabrication, joinery, CNC cutting and even our own spray shop – we’ve got every aspect covered in house. We are proud to manufacture bespoke so no two projects are ever the same. We combine traditional craftmanship with technology and natural materials with innovative products to create spaces as unique as our clients.
The prestigious office refurbishment at Apex Tower highlights this fusion of traditional and innovative beautifully. Here we manufactured Douglas Fir veneered hot desk units and bespoke storage units with powder coated metal framework and complete with Terrazzo stone shelves, while the new washroom areas feature Washroom Washroom’s contemporary Alto Kristalla full height toilet cubicles and duct panels both manufactured using back-painted toughened glass.
Install
Our talented installers and project managers, all work to the same level of attention to detail and care as we do in the factory allowing us not just to meet deadlines but to deliver the high quality of finish our clients expect. From working efficiently around other trades on site to collaborating with other members of the supply chain and delivering ‘just in time’ – our team will always do what it takes to complete projects to a high standard and on schedule.
Last year we completed works as part of a new South Lambeth development where our teams installed the fluted oak wall panelling, including concealed doorways, throughout the reception area of the building plus the bespoke reception desk with its Formica worktop and matching fluted oak panels. The oak theme continued into the washroom and changing areas where we installed benching manufactured from solid oak slats set on bespoke aluminium frames while our bespoke lockers feature veneered oak fronts which we book matched for the perfect finish.
Turnkey solutions
Our full turnkey service, WeIntegr8, which we launched a few years ago with the aim of providing contractors with one single point of contact for washroom schemes and reception areas, has also been making its mark in the fit out sector in the last 12 months.
As part of a refurbishment project for the London Stock Exchange, our WeIntegr8 team delivered washroom works on levels one, five and seven of the building where we provided and installed all the required plumbing services. In the shower room on level seven in addition to all local plumbing, the team installed the shower tray, enclosure, vanity unit, Dyson wall Airblade and all ancillaries. In the building’s multifaith area on level one we created two new wudu areas, which included installing all the wudus, ancillaries and local plumbing. The addition of the wudu areas, which are designed for users to wash their feet for religious purposes, allows London Stock Exchange to create a fully inclusive environment.
Our mission to design, manufacture and install high quality joinery and washroom solutions for our clients remains at the heart of everything we do. As we’re just 20 mins from central London, why not get in touch and arrange a visit to see our facilities and meet the team to see for yourself how we make it our mission to deliver your projects?
