Cre8ing extraordinary interiors – our top five projects of 2024
As the year draws to a close, we’re looking back at the projects that stand out and what makes them special. We take pride in creating bespoke projects tailored to our clients’ specific requirements and it’s all in the detail. Our top five projects from 2024 showcase these fine details to demonstrate the scope and variety of finishes and materials that go into each and every one of our interior fit-out projects.
Great Titchfield Street – a dramatic dark marble effect reception desk
This project has a modern feel and is characterised by the use of oak and stone throughout. We delivered a wide range of joinery elements including breakout areas, leather booth seating, teapoints, print points, planters and storage solutions, but it’s the new reception desk and entrance area that makes the biggest impression.
Fully clad in porcelain stone in a deep grey satin finish sourced from the Grande Marble Look collection of Italian ceramic tile manufacturer Marazzi, the reception desk was designed for maximum impact. And the backdrop of stained oak veneer wall panelling only emphasises the reception desk. The CEO’s office was another highlight as it was completely refreshed with a fully bespoke interior including oak stained carcases with ebony oak edges, completed with mood lighting.
KYN, Hurlingham – a traditional interior design featuring a technical bar area
In contrast, this project at a luxury residential care home in southwest London, was more traditional in style – in particular the wall panelling. It was a heavily detailed project that included fitting out the library, dining room, bar area, spa, the lounges and the private residences. In the spa area, we installed cabinetry finished in limed oak complete with integrated lighting, quartz Caesarstone worktop and splashback as well as a screen with bespoke handcrafted antique brass details and limed oak reeded panelling. The bar was technical in design and making it our highlight of the project.
Blue Owl, Davies Street – a striking central island with red fluted tiles
This was another project we undertook alongside our partner company, Washroom Washroom – fitting out the first floor of this newly built office. Our part of the project included manufacturing and installing our full height storage system, Qubewall, which we finished in oak, along with various break areas with seating and a staff kitchen area. The large central island with quartz worktop provides a striking pop of colour thanks to the vibrant red fluted tiles around the base unit – and is why it secured a place in our top five.
Together with Washroom Washroom, we also installed luxurious End of Trip facilities including shower cubicles complete with dry changing areas, terrazzo effect vanities and secure personal lockers. The End of Trip facilities were designed for those who cycle or walk into the office to refresh and change at the beginning or end of the day.
King William Street – burnt oak wall panelling takes lift lobbies to another level
This 1920s built office has been completely redesigned and our team delivered numerous bespoke joinery elements. The project was wide-ranging – from planters formed using Fenix laminate, to shelving and storage units manufactured with straight grain European oak veneer, and a feature metal ceiling with bespoke powder coated perforated metal sheets. We also installed a teapoint manufactured from bespoke laminated carcasses with bookmatched straight grain oak veneer, a back painted glass splashback and granite worktop. But the burnt oak wall panelling around the lift lobbies is a particular highlight and what makes this project unique for us.
Carden School and Nursery – a colourful design inspired by nature
As part of this project to create a dedicated therapy room for neurodiverse children we manufactured the joinery elements including three curved storage units. We also manufactured a bespoke curved cave tunnel element which was designed to give the children a space for privacy and quiet time. The curved storage units and cave tunnel were both finished using Tafisa laminate in a wood grain effect, with the edges spray painted in a soft sage green colour.
This project stands out from the rest because it was fully funded by the project team, consisting of design and build company, Tétris, JLL, Modulyss and supply chain partners including ourselves and we were proud to play our part.
