Meet the talented trio of apprentices learning the ropes at Cre8

We’re proud to support the next generation of skilled joiners and craftspeople. This National Apprenticeship Week (10-16th February) we wanted to shine a spotlight on Joe Holmes, Ryan Such and Archie Jones – three of our latest joinery apprentices to learn their craft here at Cre8 Joinery Solutions.

 

Joe has been with us for several years and is fully qualified, while Ryan and Archie have been part of the Cre8 team for over a year now. Their progress is testament to their commitment and drive as well as the training and support from the rest of our talented team. It’s all about sharing our knowledge and skills, built up over decades honing our craft.

Whatever path our apprentices take, we’re able to support them with practical hands-on skills training. Joe has recently passed his NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery, and Ryan is on track to complete his NVQ Level 2 this April. Archie has taken a practical route and is being internally trained by the joinery team here in our workshop to acquire a broad skillset across different departments within the factory.

It’s no secret that the skills gap continues to be a very real issue in construction so it’s great to see Joe, Ryan and Archie grow and develop their skills and continue to take great pride in their work, as we all do here at Cre8. Our projects range from traditional hard carving craftmanship to contemporary machined storage solutions which gives our apprentices a well-rounded training programme, equipping them with the skills for success in the future.

The theme for National Apprenticeship Week 2025, which is backed by the Department for Education, is ‘Skills for Life’ and this is precisely what we strive for with our apprentices.
