Every project we create is a unique blend of different materials, finishes and colours. We’ve delivered countless projects over the last two decades and we fully appreciate the need to be able to simultaneously look at the project in granular detail in terms of material choices as well as understanding the overall design theme – whether it’s a resimercial or biophilic inspired design or something else. Here are just some of the tools we use to help our clients realise their design visions to create interiors that are as unique as they are.

 

Samples and moodboards

We’re always on the look-out for new materials in different finishes and colours to create the high specification interiors our client’s demand. To bring these different elements to life during the initial design stage, we work with architects to collate and share samples of materials to review different options and finishes.

As interior design is all about the conversation between different elements and how they contrast and complement each other, we can take these materials samples and use them to create a tangible moodboard. This allows our clients to review the materials and finishes in relation to each other and how they will interact as part of the finished design.

We find that this is a useful way to showcase different textures, colour tones and unique design elements to demonstrate how everything will combine to create a cohesive space that meets the design brief.

 

Accurate mock-up elements

We take our responsibility to bring a design to life very seriously. For some more complex projects we can produce a complete mock-up in our factory at the design stage. These are manufactured to the precise specifications of the proposed design, using the same materials and finishes and are either scaled down or manufactured to the exact size. Our mock-ups give clients the opportunity to review key design elements as close to finished as possible – something that cannot be recreated in the same way digitally even with the best CAD drawings and 3D renders.

 

In fact the detailed mock-ups we’re able to produce in our factory have proved to be invaluable to our clients – we’re now working with some of our clients to create mock-ups as part of the bid process to strengthen their bids.
