This office building in the heart of London’s Marylebone district has been redesigned and reimagined with an extensive refurbishment inside and out and we were proud to be part of the process.

Working with the Collins Construction team, we created a number of small bespoke breakout kitchenette units and a bespoke staircase running on every level of the building. Both elements use natural oak and oak veneer as the main material which has the effect of linking different elements of the building together seamlessly.

The breakout kitchenette units were designed with a stylish storage wall feature as an effective way to partition the kitchen space from the rest of the office as well as providing additional storage. The storage wall system features black powder-coated metal supports with individual oak cube-like shelves.

The sleek dark grey units which we installed in both the kitchenettes and main kitchen areas were specified to match the paired back grey and white colour palette used throughout the building with on-trend dark grey doors providing a contemporary backdrop to the kitchen areas.

Completing the project is the stunning bespoke oak staircase banister that our team crafted and which runs on every level of the building, allowing the natural beauty of the oak grain shine through. The team also delivered oak slatted wall panelling in each stairwell with integrated LED lighting included in the ceiling panelling. The panels soften the space with the use of natural wood known to have a calming effect when used in the workplace. It also creates a link to other areas of the building.

At the same time, our in-house washroom division, Washroom Washroom, delivered the new staff shower and changing facilities in the basement of the building, which were created to accommodate those walking or cycling into the office. The new facilities include large Forte solid grade laminate shower cubicles in in dark grey to match the kitchen areas each fitted with a bespoke fold-down bench for extra convenience, offering staff complete privacy to shower and change.

The Washroom team also delivered a series of superloo toilet cubicles with toilet, bespoke white Corian solid surface vanity units and hand-drying facilities all included in one space-saving cubicle.
